How spartan can you get...and the bare bulb was, of course, an environmentally correct one. Actually, I love the exhibitions and programming that the Center for the Arts offers at the college. This afternoon I was there for the opening of an exhibition called "Performance Now" curated by RoseLee Goldberg- who was there and spoke briefly- the founder of the
Performa biennial of visual art performance in NYC in 2005. That is almost the least of her accomplishments. The exhibition is in the Zihlka gallery into December. You should go.
