I had heard that there were some new trains on this line, but this was my first experience of the bright red seats, hyper white lighting and spotless restroom. Could this really be? After years of squatting over the most disgusting toilets and rinsing hands in the most eroded sinks in this country, we have something modern and clean? WOW. How long can this last?It almost made up for the fact that I actually took the wrong train ending up on the one that stops at every station between NYC and Stamford rather than the express- one leaves at 4:13, the other at 4:15- adding a half hour to my journey.
