A friend of mine runs this quirky and charming B&B. You can get a sense of her aesthetic from this dainty sign perched next to the toilet in the powder room. It was my first walk on the beach in Westbrook. It was low tide when these amazing sand flats, which feel spongy underfoot, appear along the shore. It was fantastic. Our dogs got along great. Had to take mine into the shower when I got home as he was full of salt water and sand. Worth the trouble.Monday, January 9, 2012
