Despite the sign,the restroom is not under construction,just the plays which get readings here are.This is the kind of place that a city like New York offers to new playwrights like my friend Bonnie who has written one called "Whoops...I Forgot to Have Kids".She has been working on the script for about 7 years and has rewritten it several times.After this reading,it may be in for another transformation,including a new title.What an incredible gift to a playwright to hear professionals read their words and workshop it aftrerwards.How lucky was I to be asked to participate?
