. Parked in a public lot and stretched our legs by walking up to the Rock of Cashel-the most visited heritage site in Ireland.Wonderful views and interesting residential castle in the midst of major renovation. Wandered down the back way on a path past a small pasture with cows lazing in the sun and through the gardens behind the Castle Palace Hotel which was the former home of the first Guiness family.Yummy soup and salads in this upstairs gem where it was presented cafeteria style, but didn't taste that way.
