Went to my brother's country house to see my Austin,TX based neice and her family at a post-Thanksgiving brunch.Some bagels, smoked salmon and egg salad is alway welcome after a turkey feast! (There were healthy fruit and quinoi salad options.) I had forgotten how charming the house is and I especially like this ox halter cum mirror and the Saturday Evening Post cover framed on the opposite wall. A beautiful day and a hectic visit, but I got to read and do needlepoint in the car as I had help with the driving and it was a gorgeous, sunny day.
